BACKGROUND CHECK

Eligible candidates under final consideration for appointment to positions identified as positions of trust will be required to complete authorization for a Criminal Background Check and/or Fingerprint must be successfully completed. 

PROBATION

All persons, including current City employees, selected for this position must complete a mandatory 6-month probation.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The individual will assist the ERP Application Manager with developing and managing various artifacts that effectively communicates the ERP product management services and support and contributes to building the knowledgebase.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Update exiting documentation that includes Job Aids, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), presentations, etc.
  • Develop drafts of new documentation, where applicable Familiar/Experience with AI tools like ChatGPT to generate content Maintains document repository (e.g., SharePoint)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently attend a Maryland high school as a junior/senior.
  • Currently attend a Maryland higher education institution.
  • Graduated from a Maryland high school but currently attend a non-Maryland higher education institution.
  • Graduated from a Maryland high school and is currently enrolled or graduated from a career technical training program.
  • Available to work a minimum of 20 per week.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Major or minor (vice versa): Information Technology, Engineering, English, Communications, Journalism, or related fields.
  • Clear, concise, and accurate writing.
  • Understand technical concepts and jargon within the industry.
  • Writing style must be able to adapt to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analyze information and present it in a clear and understandable way.
