We are looking for a part-time Technical Writer to manage and create various internal and external technical documents. Technical documents could include user manuals, product data sheets, testing protocols, and product descriptions.
What you'll do
Develop and write detailed technical documents that convey complex technical material in a concise and effective manner.
Review and edit content (Technical proposals, User manuals, Datasheets)
Working closely with system architects, design engineers, and manufacturing technicians in order to gain a good understanding of the materials
What you have
Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred or minimum 2-4 years equivalent work experience
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Superior command of the English language including rules and usage
Proficient in using common authoring tools such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, Visio, PowerPoint, Keynote, or OmniGraffle
Strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources
Strong attention to detail
Nice-to-haves
Experience with Optical communication, optical imaging and depth sensing systems
$45 - $55 an hour
Salary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges are subject to change in the future.
