We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Proposal Manager/Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in proposal management and technical writing, with a proven ability to develop compelling proposals that meet client needs and drive business growth. This role involves coordinating proposal development, writing technical content, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality submissions. This position offers hybrid flexibility and is a 6 month contract to hire.
Responsibilities:
Proposal Development:
Lead the proposal development process from kickoff to submission, including planning, writing, editing, and reviewing proposals in response to RFPs and RFQs.
Technical Writing:
Produce clear, concise, and persuasive technical documents, including proposals, white papers, and case studies, ensuring alignment with company standards and client requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and business development teams to gather information and create compelling content that addresses customer needs.
Quality Assurance:
Review and edit proposals for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with RFP requirements. Ensure consistency in messaging and adherence to branding guidelines.
Project Management:
Develop and manage proposal timelines, assign tasks to team members, and track progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
Research & Analysis:
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client preferences to inform proposal strategies and content development.
Continuous Improvement:
Maintain a repository of proposal templates, best practices, and lessons learned to enhance future proposal efforts.
Client Engagement:
Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss proposal content and respond to client inquiries.
